Cap d'Ail

Cap d'Ail stands peacefully along the coast bordering the Principality of Monaco. The Port of Cap d'Ail extends over a body of water 47000 sq m and has 253 berths. Regattas and celebrations are held during the summer season. There is a superb walk along the coastal path, "sentier du littoral", approx 4 km which passes through pine forests and along cliffs overlooking the crashing waves taking you to Monaco. The village is suitable for daily shopping with a bakery, pharmacy, restaurants, grocery store, butchers and post office.

Monaco / Monte Carlo

Monaco is one of those glamorous places that has a world wide reputation. Just 1.95 km and nicknamed "The Rock", where the palace is located, it is built against the mountains and spreads down to the shores of the Riviera. Fabulous parks and gardens have been laid out throughtout the city along with boutiques, luxury hotels and chic restaurants. Monte Carlo is the principal residential and resort area of Monaco famous for its casino and gardens. The state is headed by Prince Albert II who lives in the Prince's Palace high on the rock.

Each May, Monaco holds the Formula 1 Grand Prix where the streets are turned into a high speed track with hair pin curves.
